Calling Utopia into existence
Our being and actions reflect our core and inner utopias
Since I was a child, I have been searching for worlds in which I am allowed to be myself. The utopia in which I may be Miel, I found within myself. Inner utopias and the world around me became my coexisting realities. Memories, feelings, desires, dreams, hopes, scents, sounds, moods, objects, rituals, materiality, music. These things serve as a bridge between my utopia and the world around me. My work embodies in a sensitive way these inner worlds. The desire to manifest this utopia can become a shared experience.
