Hello my name is / Welcome to my Island is part of the manifestation of what troubles me in regard to leaving my 20’s, graduating, being and becoming, and not being nor becoming someone.

Fashion to me is what covers the body but unveils truth’s stories and circumstances. In my creative practice clothing has become the vehicle I use to move through my personal truth’s stories and circumstances.

My work bases on my writing, is heavily informed by socio- and pop cultural codes and makes use of image and word associations. With my heart light and vacant for a generous amount of humor I try to create a realistic surrealistic universe where I get to express parts of what weighs heavy in the Zeitgeist and make it digestible. Hello my name is/ welcome to my Island and bon appetite.
