Skin of Memory
My skin tingles and my hair stands on end. An intense feeling of cold and cosiness floods through me - familiar and yet so strange. These are moments when physical or psychological impressions suddenly and intensely touch us, so that time seems to stand still for a moment.

Goosebumps. A fascinating phenomenon. Fragile, powerful moments that show not only the outer physicality, but also the hidden interior. Through them eroticism embodies the aesthetic depiction of the body and interpersonal closeness. These themes as well as snapshots in photography, are ones that fascinate me. They reflect emotions that show us a special kind of vulnerability and offer a rare glimpse into a person‘s inner self, which often remains hidden behind an emotional ,mask‘. Gestures, looks and touches reveal the hidden side of a person and create tension.
Am I the person undressing myself or am I being undressed? Is it through looks or hands? Am I undressing not only physically, but also emotionally? Is it a performative act to drop my second skin, my clothes, my mask and show my true (naked) self?
_
Ultimately, it‘s about awakening emotions and inviting people to pause, to engage with these f leeting moments - moments that pass as quickly as a brief goosebump moment.
