"Pattern Of A Moment" - POAM
The material itself is a language that tells stories and reflects processes
"The material itself is a language that tells stories and reflects processes." A living archive of analogue and digital imagery allows me to return to seemingly "minor" fragments at a later time and be inspired by them. For my work, I draw from this rich collection that contributes to a sensual, raw, and poetic visual communication.
The materials themselves become a language that reflects stories and thoughts. Engravings, coatings, and interweavings are signs of memories, emotions, and questions.
Experiments with plaster on the body emphasize that my goal is to design clothing that supports everyday life.
In this thesis entitled POAM "Pattern Of A Moment", the rawness of things is a basis and the appeal of the incidental fascinates me. I am interested in how processes find their sound through visual language."
