A thing, an object, completely autonomous, right?

My work is an ongoing process with focus on walking, on collecting; like an empty vessel, I go on walks through various places in my surroundings, through imaginary, mental worlds, ready to collect impressions of all kinds. The growing collection consists of objects, photographs, sound recordings and texts.
My walking research inspires me to enter into a mindful dialog with different materials from the collected impressions, the echoes of my walks. This method shapes my continuous design process with different materials such as plaster, wire, metal, paste, fabric, agar agar, leather, fur, wool and many more. Some created objects have a visible, wearable function in relation to the human body. Others may not have a recognizable function at first glance. Their function, their essence, is open to interpretation. It is enough simply to be.
I am primarily intrigued by the process itself, the act of creating.
I am interested in sensory perceptions, in evoking feelings through wearing, viewing, observing, and experiencing the objects. An exploration of playing with different materials, an exploration of the body, of mindfulness, of my inner and outer world, of perceptions.
I design freely, discovering, directly from the original, following my intuition, without fixed guidelines, ideas or a specific goal.
For me, fashion means creating free space; it is a personal outlet, an expansion of feelings and emotions, a form of expression, a sensory experience.
